The Unique single-handed sports retractable keel-sailboat!!!
An original design and ergonomic, dedicated to comfort and performance. An L-shaped swiveling keel of 176 pounds (80 Kg) fully retractable guarantees an important self righting couple with the comfort in navigation of sports keel-sailboat.
Carefully prepared fittings and a sharpened sail set for pure sailing pleasure. A stable swift boat for boating or racing. In rambling, lift and totally hidden in bottom, the keel permits to jump sandbars or beach at any time on shore. Transport and launching can be done with the same ease as a classical sailing dinghy.
The narrow top of the tapered mast absorbs strong gusts. The mainsail mylar sail of a high aspect ratio confers a high precision of steering for a perfect total control.
To answer to specifications, we drawn a boat with straight longitudinal lines and a straight stem for a maximum length at waterline. Slender and round front sections offer shape regularity when heeling, a reduced wet surface and a good maneuverability. The U-shaped median sections lock boat on chine for a good head to the wind and confer an important stability couple. The relatively flat bottom of the boat confers a high ability to planning. The rounded rear sections minimize drag of outflow. Breadth at rear eases good stability of course when sailing free.
Fully cleared, it eases movements on board from rear to front and from a side to another. Middle toe clip, foot straps and wide seats confer an important comfort for helmsman. The whole of sails settings are within helmsman's reach.
The swiveling keel of a high ballast ratio sets centre of gravity very deep, producing and important righting couple. The moderated aspect ratio reduces drag and takes part to the good maneuverability.
The rudder blade of high aspect ratio confers a high precision of steering for a perfect control of the whole. For use and transport easiness, the swiveling keel is fully retractable. This eventually permits the use of a standard sailing dinghy trolley.
